To my mind, the mark of a great pop song is that you can listen to it in its entirety more than twice without wanting to punch either them or yourself in the face. This tune falls into that category. For me.

I often showcase performances from the early to mid 70s because that’s when I grew up and began to notice music on the radio or TV. I never wore my hair this long or donned groovy duds like these guys. But I secretly wished I could.
